CMOVEMENT Management
Message from CMOVEMENT. The role of an artist or band management has changed drastically. In the good old days, the role of the Manager was to shop the artist or band to the record labels. The record labels would offer the artist or band artist-development and assistance with branding. Those offers are no longer on the table as labels expect the artist or band to be fully developed with an extreme following before even engaging in a business relationship. CMOVEMENT has the ability to play a major role in your career and development.
We are able to help brand our clients by guiding them client, assisting with business decisions and, musical growth structure. You may feel you have been doing a great job on your own, which while that may be true the truth is you may have reached your pinnacle as an individual marketing him/herself. The method of doing your own promoting often times do not live up to expectations in the eyes of the industry, so you have to create a TEAM. As an artist or band you may have come to a realization that your music and talents alone are not sufficient to be considered your main source of income. That’s where you’re wrong – and where CMOVEMENT can make that dream a reality by providing the connections and exposure necessary to promote you within the industry and prove that your skill, abilities, and passion for your craft are worthy with out a record label.
The most important ideology for an artist or band to adhere to is “who believes in me as much as I believe in myself?” If you are reading this, it is evident that we believe in you and your talents. After a successful developmental phase, CMOVEMENT will approach labels of interest, and act as liaison between the label and the artist or band. The negotiation with record labels is a very delicate phase, which will also involve the artist or band’s attorney (we will discuss further once we reach that point) Until then lets have fun.
